In the first quarter of 2026, Vitec Memorix took important steps in the areas of quality, security, and product development. With reliable software, we continue to make the past accessible to everyone. Below you can read what we worked on in the past quarter and which developments we will continue to pursue.
• ISAE, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001 certifications.
• NDE compatibility for Memorix Nexus, Maior, and Websites.
• Migration of customer websites from Joomla CMS to Memorix Elements Websites well underway.
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) rolled out across our applications.
• Strengthening of the Sales, Services & Delivery team.
• Presence in Utrecht at the Archiefcongres on 22 June 2026 with the theme: “The right of access to information; self-evident?”
• Continued development of the Memorix E‑depot.
• Extensions in audio and video support, Linked Data, and archival functionality.
• Improvements to the Memorix Building Dossier application, the Memorix Periodicals Viewer, and new viewers within Memorix Websites.
• Support for TMLO Sidecar for digital archives and development of support for MDTO.
In 2026, the focus will be on searchable OCR and HTR transcriptions, audio and video, DIPs and Sidecar structures, multitenancy in Memorix Nexus, and integration with a TripleStore (SPARQL).
The increasing use of AI scrapers calls for a new balance between openness and system protection. We are exploring the deployment of advanced bot protection and actively discussing this topic with customers and partners.
