Memorix Introduces NDE Module for Simple and Complete Collection Publication

With the Memorix NDE module, collections from Memorix Maior can be published easily and fully in compliance with NDE standards.

NDE compliance refers to the Dutch agreements and guidelines that ensure the standards of the National Strategy for Digital Heritage are correctly applied when making collections available.

This new module makes it significantly easier for heritage organizations to make their data available in accordance with the guidelines of the National Data Infrastructure for Digital Heritage.

Thanks to the NDE compatibility module, organizations remain fully in control. They decide which information is published, how terms from the terminology network are used, and which datasets are included in the dataset register. The module then takes care of the publication process: fast, consistent, and fully compliant with NDE standards.

Implementation requires only a few targeted adjustments within Memorix Maior. In consultation, decisions are made about which terminology networks are added and which collections may be shared via IIIF. These choices can be implemented quickly and easily, enabling organizations to make their collections futureproof and widely accessible with minimal effort.

With the Memorix NDE module, Memorix takes the next step in supporting heritage institutions in the sustainable, standardized, and reusable publication of collection data.

Applying for NDE subsidy for this module is still possible until May 31, 2026. Vitec Memorix is happy to assist you with this. Please contact our sales department.
